That's Not My Tiger - The Perfect Gift For Baby, Especially Those Clemson Babies

That's Not My Tiger is the newest in the line of Usborne Books' Touchy-Feely board book series. It takes little ones through a series of different tigers as they try to find their own tiger. Kids are so delighted when the find their tiger at the end of the book. This is the perfect book for those babies who are just starting to pick up and look at books. The age for the book says 9 months and up, but I've seen children younger who love to open the thick pages and touch all the different textures that are on the various tigers. The patches of textures help to stimulate sensory and language awareness. The text is repetetive so the children eventually know what is coming as they read and reread the book over and over again. Yes, they will eventually read this book themselves. They will ask you to read it over and over again until they can on their own.

These Touchy Feely books make such great baby gifts! That's Not My Tiger makes a great gift for Clemson Carolina fans!

Finger Rhymes - Usborne's Newest Line of Rhyming Books

"The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout.

Down came the rain and washed the spider out.

Out came the sunshine and dried up all the rain,

And the itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again."

Ok, I know you're singing right along to this catchy tune, just like I did as I typed it.

This newest line of rhyming books published by Usborne Books are a great way to have fun with babies and toddlers while helping them to develop language and memory skills. Finger Rhymes includes the words and the directions on how to do the finger movements to the following rhymes: The Itsy Bitsy Spider, Two Little Blackbirds, One Two Three Four Five, Round and Round the Garden, This Little Piggy, and Five Pretty Poppies.

This fun book is linked to Usborne's famous internet linked site. You can go to the site and see demonstrations of the finger actions, and hear the music to the tunes. Directions on how to access this is included in the book.

Other books included in this series are Animal Rhymes and Counting Rhymes. Each book is a sturdy, heavy board book with large tabs which make it easy for little ones to turn the pages.
